		<description>I&#039;ve only used protein shakes to try to build muscle, increasing your protein intake can increase your lean muscle ratio.  Remember it&#039;s muscle that calories, not fat.  Don&#039;t worry about getting all huge and bulky, protein isn&#039;t steroids it doesn&#039;t build muscle out of thin air.  You, as a woman, would really have to put in some good effort in order to gain an unattractive amount of muscle.  A protein shake could make a good meal alternative since protein has a lower propensity to be stored as fat, the way fat and simple sugars do.
